Internet Justice

No charges have been filed, but one could say the hive mind that is the intarweb is exacting a measure of justice: lori drew family, psychos who pushed a teenager to suicide:
these rotten ***holes helped their daughter set up a fake myspace account, to draw in a neighbor girl. they pretended to be a boy that was interested in the girl. they led poor megan meier on, then posted nasty crap about her. this poor child was so devastated by the rejection that she hanged herself. shame on the drew family, you all can rot in **** .
Read through some of the comments. People are just hounding this family, and rightly so. Kevin Smith recently posted (in his trademark profane style) about this situation. I found out about the RottenNeighbor.com site via the Tech Guy podcast.

Not a Resolution, but Hopefully Resolute

Long ago I gave up New Year’s Resolutions. In fact I’ve kept my last resolution, made a few years ago: Make no more New Years Resolutions. They are inherently self-defeating and doomed to failure. So no grandiose announcements about a major life change or even a minor one. It’s simple.
I have to lose weight. Obviously this has been on my mind lately judging from my post below about lapband surgery.
