California Trip 2007
“How do you eat an elephant?”
“One bite at a time.”
Total is about 3418 miles including side trips, like San Diego. The plan was for a comfortable 3-400 miles per day. Out of the 18 total days of vacation, I had 5 days of no or minimal riding. The average riding per day then comes out to 262.9 miles. Very comfortable. The longest day was about 437 miles, from Boise to Reno. The shortest day was 52 miles from my Dad’s house to Dwight’s house.
Below the map waypoints are gas stops, overnight stops, or are present only to make the route conform to where I want it to go. Unfortunately Google Maps as yet does not provide a way to tag or annotate the waypoints.
