Looks like there was some kind of funky cache issue with WordPress. I ended up deleting everything and reinstalling from scratch.
Right now I’m just running the default Dark Knight theme. I’ll upload my customized version when I have time.
Updated: Apparently the caching issue is what was causing problems with this Performancing Theme called Gangway which I’d modified. I think I’ll run that for awhile now.

Friggin Fast Furniture: Stop The Presses Sofa Speed Record Broken
Like mushy peas or sadomasochistic fantasies involving The Headmistress and her Cane of Exquisite Punishment, furniture racing just seems to make more sense in Britain. With that being the case, it comes as no surprise to us that the old Fastest Furniture Land Speed Record of 87 MPH- held by British engineer Ed China since 1998- would be annihilated by another Brit (driving a China-built sofa), who got his settee up to a very impressive 92 miles per. What really makes this record mean something is that the sofa was equipped with a table set with plants and teacups, so you know they’re serious.
So I guess that means he’s the Sofa King. And he was going Sofa King Fast…

Maintenance Issues
I upgraded to WordPress 2.2 via Dreamhost’s One-click installs and it seems to have borked my site completely. They said they had it fixed, and that may indeed be true, but only for the default theme (”Kubrick”). If you’re seeing this consider it a miracle. Dreamhost in general seems to be running slow to compound the problems.

Television Evangelist Falwell Dies at 73

The Rev. Jerry Falwell, who founded the Moral Majority and built the religious right into a political force, died Tuesday shortly after being found unconscious in his office at Liberty University, a school executive said. He was 73.
