I dunno what the **** is going on. After yesterday’s weigh-in I had to try it today. The yo-yo goes up, the yo-yo goes down.
Update: Disregard all my weigh-ins. This morning I got on the scale: 340.2. Woohoo! Wait, that can’t be right. Tried it again: 337.5. Oh. Again: 345. Again: 344.2. Crap. Scale’s either busted or the battery has already weakened. I sure hope it’s the battery because I’ve only had this thing a few months.

With extreme measures, it can be done

This will be the second time I will have lost significant weight in a yearish time frame. 10 years ago I lost 132 lbs because of a $100 bet with a buddy. I remember before I lost weight the first time if was even possible. I felt helpless at times. After the success of the first big weight loss I knew it was about setting up a good plan and sticking to it.
Maybe I set my goal too small. It doesn’t inspire any major changes and it’s entirely too easy to lose any progress made.
3 meals (+ 1 snack usually fruit) and staying under 1,406 calories (Low fat and choosing whole grain if possible.) I average about 1,000 to 1,200 calories per day.
I would do 2-5 minutes of cardio at 108-120 BPM and follow that with 2-5 min at 150-162 BPM. So now I just put the Cardio time in (at this point 90 minutes a day) and I have had some great results.

Mofos, this site has been a “Tumblelog” for over five years now…
…Except I used to call it a “Link Whore blog,” which has a better ring to it IMHO.
What’s a tumblelog?
To make a simple analogy: If blogs are journals, tumblelogs are scrapbooks.
You can also look at tumblelogs as slightly more structured blogs that make it easier, faster, and more fun to post and share stuff you find or create.
You can find more information on Wikipedia.
Please.

Hey, at least I had a lot of fun in Butte on St. Patty’s day…

Probably more likely to be struck by lightning, too
The odds that a high-school kid who spends geometry class sketching cars will ever work as an automobile designer are no better, and are probably worse, than the odds that a typical high-school football player will play in the NFL.
Automotive designer has always ranked high on my list of dream jobs, but I never had the drive (pardon the pun) to follow through, never wanted it bad enough to sacrifice enough to make it happen.
