Leykis Gets Murder Confession

A woman from Ahwatukee, AZ, calls up the Tom Leykis Show (mostly safe for work) and confesses to murder, killing her ex-lover/ex-coworker and father of her child over child support. She wasn’t charged after she lied to police saying he beat her then committed suicide. She never went to trial so she can still be charged with the crime.
Unbelievable. Thankfully there’s no statute of limitations on murder. Leykis has pledged $5000 for information leading to her capture and conviction.
Boys, this is why A) you never date a coworker, and B) always always always wear a condom. And not to let him off the hook completely, though he didn’t deserve to die, if you have a kid you have to pay for it.
Update, October 2008: The District Attorney has decided not to press charges on the murder but is charging her with something akin to obstruction of justice for sending the police on a wild goose chase. The DA said they don’t believe there’s enough evidence (probably because the victim was cremated) to disprove the original suicide story.
