This one is pretty much a no-brainer. If you’re in a church, go talk to your pastor. If you’re not in a church, either find god and go to the pastor, or get actual professional help. Simple.
Where it gets complicated is the pastor’s training and personal motives. How often does a pastor recommend a course of action to someone based on the religious answer when perhaps that’s not the best answer for that person. They would probably argue that the religion-based answer is the only answer, but that would be myopic, wouldn’t it?
