How am I supposed to afford a little red sports car and find a hot blonde seat cover for the passenger seat when my mid-life crisis officially starts one year from today?
(Exposition time: In one year from today I’ll be 40. I’ve already got my mid-life crisis toy sitting in my garage. I think I’ll take a couple weeks off and truck my bike down to Vegas, and use that as a launching point for riding over to Laughlin, the Grand Canyon, Area 51, etc. Maybe play a little poker. See Penn and Teller. That would make a suitably cool, and hopefully not uber-expensive, 40th birthday.)

In other words, it was the caged-living that stopped the neurogenesis process.”
